A recent incident in London has again heated up the controversy of smoking electronically operated cigarettes in public places. This incident happened when a man traveling by bus to London, while using an Electronic Cigarette , attracted the attention of fellow passengers. The vapor releasing from the device made many people present in the bus suspicious and ultimately calling of the police. However, it is not the first time that the use of these electronically operated cigarettes in public places is resulting in rising of alarm.

Although, these cigarettes are safe for both its users and the people present around it. Still, many people are quite skeptical about its benefits and use in public places. This kind of assumption among general public can be due to not promoting this product in a proper manner. However, to make sure that the sales of these products keeps on growing, it is quite necessary that the general mass is properly made aware about its benefits. Also, while designing and developing the promotional campaign, it is quite necessary to include the stand taken by the various governments. Most of the countries consider these Electronic Cigarettes quite safe to use. Although, they themselves can't promote these cigarettes, but they have approved its general use by making it legal to be even used in public places.
